The Entrepreneurship Club was founded in 2007 to harness and enable the deep pool of entrepreneurial genius that exists within the UIS communities. It is entirely student-run and is positioned to complement the offerings of other clubs at UIS. The club was created to promote:
- entrepreneurial activity among students,
- Working for, or advising new businesses in high-growth environments. In order to accomplish this, we have established the following objectives:
- Build an entrepreneurial network
- providing access to information and job opportunities
- Foster the development of new businesses through ongoing series of workshops, entrepreneur-executive speeches
- The Entrepreneurial Club aims to support entrepreneurs through all steps of the Entrepreneurial Process:
- Idea Generation
- Market Research
- Business Planning
- Financing
- Staffing and Implementation
- Idea Generation
- Build an entrepreneurial network
If you can dream it, we can find a way to make it happen.
